Nuda Paper Launch Party

Stockholm-based Nuda Paper presented their first issue of the year "Ego" with an exclusive launch event at Voo Store on February 28th. Centering the exploration of the human mind, the psyche and the ego, the event featured Berlin-based set designer Filip Samuelberg, who displayed eight different magazine covers on a site specific installation.

With their latest issue, founders Nora Arrhenius Hagdahl and Frida Vega Salomonsson have curated an impressive line-up of contributors such as Zara Larsson, Slavoj Žižek and KAWS, who guide the reader through a critical and aesthetically pleasing discovery of the ego - the ego of oneself, the ego of society, the ego of the future.

The launch event picked up on these topics with tarot card readings by Nuda's muse and Berlin butterfly Jean Christian, showcasing society's endless quest for shared identities and social connections.

Performance and visual artist Esben Weile Kjær closed the launch with an expressive high-energy re-performance of his piece "Sun" from 2018.
