MOTHERS OF BERLIN

This Mother’s Day, we are honoring the many forms of motherhood around us in our communities, highlighting the powerful and nurturing spirit found within queer, chosen, and traditional families.
Motherhood often exists beyond traditional structures and becomes a chosen role.
Through personal stories and portraits, we explore what mothering means and spoke with five women in Berlin—from different backgrounds, ages, and communities—who shared their personal experiences with motherhood and mothering roles.
