Universität der Künste Berlin collaborates with Voo Store
In partnership with Universität der Künste Berlin, Voo Store is introducing the new education and mentorship project. With an exclusive in-store launch on October 28th, the Fashion students from UdK have been presenting their experimental take on the hoodie, re-imagining the piece beyond its place as a classic wardrobe staple.
Rooted in sportswear, the hoodie has found commercial success and is the epitome of genderless clothing. The students of UdK have been researching this phenomena, taking the history as well as political and cultural meaning of the hoodie in today’s society into consideration.
The hoodie project in collaboration with UdK celebrates creativity, collaboration and an out-of-the box mindset with a gentle nod to upcycling and sustainability.
Nine different designs are now being presented and sold in-store and online.
The on-going education and mentorship project launched by Voo Store aims to support young creatives by giving them a platform as well as guide them with industry knowledge.
The selection will be available for purchase in-store and online from October 28th until November 25th.
