For brand's first Signature Series partnership, ASICS welcomes Cecilie Bahnsen who applied her signature style to the GEL-CUMULUS 16 sneaker.
She wanted to express the juxtaposition of femininity/masculinity, using softly transparent materials and delicate floral motifs on an otherwise masculine shoe. This was echoed by the use of contrasting shiny/matte surfaces, hardness and softness, light and shadow.
